The Executive Director directs, guides and presides over the entire agency. As the Chief Executive Officer of the Center for Evaluation and Counseling, Inc. (CEC), the Executive Director reports to the Board of Directors, and is responsible for the organization’s consistent achievement of its mission and financial objectives. This position ensures that CEC meets state and national guidelines for non-profit organizations and is responsible for quality assurance.
The Clinical Director functions as the clinical and forensic supervisor of CEC and reports to the Executive Director. The Clinical Director oversees the staff at CEC. This position ensures that clinical work adheres to the Ethical Principles of Psychologists and Code of Conduct of the American Psychological Association, guidelines from the New Jersey Board of Psychological Examiners. The Clinical Director is responsible for the supervision of the evaluation team and development of treatment plans and their implementation, the preparation of therapy summaries as required through criminal and civil litigation, case conferencing involving external agencies and CEC staff and personnel appraisal.
The staff is comprised of Psychologists, Social Workers and Counselors each of whom brings to CEC many years of training and experience in working with children, adolescents and adults. Many of the staff members are recognized as experts within their fields, and serve on various Boards and Committees throughout the state, which are dedicated to addressing mental health issues and the provision of mental health services.
